Anne Willet, FNP-BC
Medical Team Director
Anne received her undergraduate nursing degree from Colby Sawyer College in New Hampshire and worked for 17 years as a Registered Nurse with experience in medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric, pediatrics, and home health nursing. She also served as a nurse coordinator in a Reproductive Endocrinology clinic. It was here that she got first-hand experience working with Nurse Practitioners and decided to return to school to further her education. She relocated to North Carolina and received her master’s degree from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a Nurse Practitioner for the past 19 years, Anne’s experiences have included working in a women’s health clinic, a residential addictions treatment center, a school-based health clinic, and a community health center that served low income individuals.
Anne first came to Selah House as a part-time member of the medical team, and quickly realized how rewarding it is to work with eating disorder clients and their families, helping them to understand the physical impact of the eating disorder on their health. Now as the Medical Team Director, Anne is responsible for helping to manage medical and psychiatric issues, as well as helping to review organizational policies related to many aspects of client care.
Anne also volunteers weekly with a local free medical clinic that serves individuals without health insurance and access to health care. She has served on the board and currently is a provider. In her spare time, Anne and her husband love to travel and spend time with their five adult children and seven grandchildren.
