As a body image therapist, Trina facilitates body image group and meets with each client at Selah House individually for one-on-one body image therapy sessions. Trina’s goal in these sessions is always to assist the client in developing a healthier relationship with their body regardless of how they perceive their appearance. The body image program concludes with a clothes shopping challenge, in which Trina accompanies a client to a local mall to assist them in choosing clothing items, trying on different clothing sizes and styles, and processing emotions and thoughts that arise while being in dressing rooms and in front of full-length mirrors.

“My favorite aspect of Selah is the relationships I have with clients and coworkers. There is something special about Selah that is hard to put into words. When someone walks through the doors, they are met with love and acceptance. It feels like family. Outside of my work at Selah, I love traveling, hiking, music, photography, and Harry Potter.”
